The Atmosphere

Crippen's is both a bed and breakfast and a restaurant located in historic downtown Blowing Rock, NC. On the ground level is the restaurant serving lunch and dinner to the public as well as a piano parlor featuring live music nightly usually until around 11:00pm. We enjoy a lively atmosphere and it is common to hear other guests enjoying themselves. We hope you'll be a part of the fun!

In addition to our friendly service and hospitality our rooms have 1935 original antique, cast iron, claw footed soaking tubs along with Rennai water heaters keeping your bath and showers steamy hot for as long as you wish. All rooms have restored hardwood floors and serta "inn shape" mattresses.

Breakfast

Hot Country Breakfast is served from 8:30 until 10:00. Scrambled Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, Grits, Bacon, Coffee and Orange Juice.

Complimentary Beverage Station serving water, soda, coffee and hot tea.

Policies

Greenwich Bay Trading Company Amenities offered complimentarily in each room. Blow dryers and iron and board available upon request.

By booking a room and securing with deposit you agree to the following terms:

• All rooms with private baths.
• Breakfast served 8:30am - 10:00am.
• Rates are based upon double occupancy.
• There is a $15 charge for each additional guest (max 2 additional).
• Children under 6 years old accomodated in Cottage only.
• Live music played in parlor nightly until 11:00pm.
• Promotional Rates are exclusive to specific dates and are not transferable.
• All rates subject to applicable taxes.
• Minimum stay may be required on weekends and holidays.
• A deposit of one night's rate per room is required at the time of reservation. Reservations made 3 days or less prior to arrival will be charged in full and are non-refundable. Deposits may be made by credit card or money order.
• Changes and cancellations require 3 days notice. (30 days notice for certain packages, events, Holidays and in the month of October)
• Cancellation fee within 3 days is Loss of Deposit
• Cancellation fee within 24 hours is 100%
• 10% administrative fee for deposits cancelled anytime.
• Bad Weather is not considered an exception to cancellation policy.
• Early departure falls with our cancellation policy. There are no refunds for early departure. We reserve the right to treat a partial cancellation as a cancellation for the entire stay.
• Check in time: 3:00pm - 9:00pm.
• Check out time: 11:00am.
• Unless otherwise requested, room reservations are held until 9:00pm on day of arrival.
• No smoking or pets, please.
